The house is surrounded by 3 hectares of meadow, which in early summer are abundant with wild flowers. Further afield the valleys are mainly wooded and home to deer and wild boar. Depending on the season the orchard will provide you with cherries, apples, plums and figs.

French doors lead out from the kitchen to a vine covered pergola and the ruins of an old barn which is now a walled garden. The south facing pergola is a shady place for breakfast, lunch, and relaxing in the hammock. During the evening it bathed in golden light and is great place to watch the sun set over the hills.

A courtyard at the front of the house leads to the barn and swimming pool. The swimming pool is situated within a walled area and is elevated above the meadow in front. At 14m long and purified with salt it’s perfect for swimming lengths or just floating around looking out at the surrounding landscape. Mature olive trees provide dappled shade to the terrace, and there is a long bench along the wall in full sun.
